Supporting Caribbean countries with renewable energy transition

Creation of a Toolkit to Support Renewable Energy Market Development in OECS CountriesMCG is leading a team on behalf of the World Bank to support six Eastern Caribbean countries with renewable energy policy, grid integration and grid code. Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have some of the highest electricity rates in the Caribbean region due to their reliance on imported fossil fuel. MCG is supporting these countries with strategies to grow their renewable energy markets, diversify their energy portfolios, and reduce their economic vulnerability to price swings.
