Renewable Heating Opportunities and Impacts Study
In partnership with national and regional trade organizations, MCG led a project team to assess the impacts and opportunities for renewable heating technologies in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this role, MCG facilitated workshops with businesses, policy-makers, and experts across the solar thermal, biomass thermal, air- and ground-source heat pump, and biodiesel sectors. MCG additionally conducted regional and international analyses of renewable heating policies and developed a comprehensive report assessing market opportunities and barriers, lifecycle cost, greenhouse gas, and economic development impacts in the state.
