Renew Boston
MCG worked with the City of Boston to develop a strategic plan for significantly reducing Boston’s energy consumption over the next decade.
The MCG team facilitated the Renew Boston stakeholder goal-setting process, which led to the city developing an aggressive set of energy savings targets. This effort resulted in the development of an innovative city-utility partnership involving a diverse community-based marketing initiative, a small business energy efficiency program, a 3,000 home retrofit plan, and a municipal building energy reduction plan. MCG is currently assisting the city in implementing several of the Renew Boston program initiatives.
