Green Communities Act Planning Services and Technical Consulting

MCG is working with a team of consultants to support energy efficiency and renewable energy planning in 26 Massachusetts cities and towns as part of the Commonwealth’s Green Communities program.

MCG provides hands-on technical assistance to communities seeking to become Green Communities.  MCG advises these communities on issues related to permitting, zoning, procurement, energy benchmarking, and building codes in order to comply with Massachusetts Green Communities sustainability criteria.
