Energy Efficiency

Buildings are the largest source of energy consumption in the U.S. As a result, building energy efficiency presents businesses and organizations significant potential for operational cost-savings and greenhouse gas emission reductions. In spite of such economic and social benefits though, energy efficiency implementation is difficult due to a number of barriers, ranging from lack of investment funds to split tenant-landlord incentives, among others. Moreover, the policy landscape supporting energy efficiency initiatives is highly fragmented, making incentive programs complicated to navigate.
MCG provides clients with in-house expertise to overcome these barriers and realize the economic, environmental, and social benefits of energy efficiency. Our services include:
- benchmarking best practices and developing custom energy efficiency program strategies,
- developing new business relationships through green lending programs,
coordinating energy efficiency program operation and outreach strategies, and - identifying new business opportunities for public-private sector collaboration
