Jon Crowe

Project Consultant

Jon Crowe is a consultant specializing in climate and energy policy and strategy. He brings over five years of experience in climate change adaptation and mitigation, renewable energy policy, and local government sustainability. Recent work has included identifying opportunities for market-driven solutions to climate adaptation challenges, advising corporate clients on GHG management and carbon disclosure, and quantifying economic and emissions reduction benefits associated with renewable heating technologies.

Prior to his work with MCG, he helped coordinate the development and implementation of climate change-related initiatives in several U.S. municipal governments through his work with the City of Medford, Massachusetts and the international organization ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability. He holds an M.A. in Urban & Environmental Policy & Planning from Tufts University where he completed a master’s thesis examining corporate reporting and emissions management in response to climate change risk. He holds a B.A. in International Relations, also from Tufts University.
